3/28/09:  I unpacked the glass package and sat the windshield on the car.  It actually lays pretty flat, however the body is not laying perfectly on the windshield support arms.  It will take a little persuasion from the torch and a sledge hammer for everything to lay flat.

The Fiero windshield wiper motor is mounted behind the trunk. The mounting bracket is fiber glassed onto the underside of the body.  The original Fiero connector rod is lengthened and connects motor to the pivot joint that is mounted through the body.  The wiring harness is lengthened 20" to reach the new location.
