The rear deck lid went in surprisingly nice.  Mounting brackets for the hinges were welded to the chassis.  The hard part was centering and positioning the lid so the bolt holes could be marked and drilled.  The second pic shows the fake heat shield for the muffler.  On the end of silver bar are brackets for the hinge pins.  If everything is "perfectly" aligned, the spring loaded brackets will pop-up the lid enough so it can be lifted manually.  Next up is to install electric actuators and linkage so the hinges can be released from inside the car or from a remote key fob.

Feb 2014:  The mounting points for the roof were made in the deck lid.  The latches came with the kit and everything fit very nicely.
